About Us Enterprise Data Solutions, Inc. (EDSI) is a nationwide, top-tier technology provider of custom Cloud Computing Services and Hosted Software Development, operating its own Highly Redundant Data Center in Downtown Cleveland. We offer Server Virtualization, Web and E-Mail Hosting, and Data Management Services including Backup, Archive and Disaster Recovery.
The Position EDSI is looking for a dynamic candidate to fill the position of a full-time Network Support Specialist. Duties include, but are not limited to: Upgrade/maintain computer anti-virus to ensure data security and protection, including documenting root causes and resolutions when compromised. Perform regular installations/updates for IT hardware and software systems. Implement/manage regular backup, storage and retrieval functions of critical data. Provide day-to-day server support to improve workflow. Maintain/troubleshoot network printers, firewalls, servers, telephone systems and other company networked systems. Troubleshoot/resolve network connectivity, as well as computer and other IT equipment problems and malfunctions. Provide troubleshooting for Internet Explorer, Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office, and other hardware and software applications. Experience with MAC OS is a plus. Manage administration of user accounts including email, remote access, etc. Assist in setting-up and upgrading computer systems for end users. Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues. Provide recommendations for system improvements. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to reduce downtime.
The Requirements Experience with VMware, Hyper-V and Storage Area Networks for Server Installation, as well as Active Directory Configuration, Microsoft Exchange Administration, Cisco Firewall and Switch Configuration, and Enterprise Backup Setup and Support. Must be a quick thinker with a can-do attitude. Professional appearance and demeanor. Local travel to client sites to perform critical system maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn proprietary software, as necessary. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience. A bachelor degree and professional certifications are a plus, but not necessary.
